My Inspirations
I'm In Miami Bitch !
20 May 2013
To all my lovely readers I have to warn you I may be a little bit on the quiet side this week, because I'm currently on a sunbed beside a pool in Miami- oh life is so hard I know!!! But next week I'll be coming back with a splash of all the outfits, Miami street style and lots more!!
In run up to Miami, I've been getting more and more excited especially with the beautiful summer images I've been stumbling across on some of my favourite inspiration blogs like Studded Hearts or LilyLoveLock and Pinterest. Here are my favs!

I have massive love for surfing, hence so many of my perfect summer pictures have surfboards in them, I sadly haven't been able to do it since I moved to London but it will always be a favourite past time of mine!
So my lovely readers, if anyone has recommendations for Miami, please let me know via the comments!
Big Love from Miami!

DIY To Do List
30 March 2013
I snapped this very cool chick on the Kings Road the other day wearing her newly spiked UGGs, that she DIY'd herself. You maybe thinking how far can we all go with this 'spiking every that's wearable' craze and in some cases I agree, but these I think are awesome.
With these Uggs, gold spikes are essential, if you are wondering where to get them; just hit eBay! Because the fabric is soft piercing the sheepskin is easy, for more instructions follow the same method as I did for my spikey converse - here.

The Wonderful Grace
7 November 2012
You say the name Grace Coddington and you can bet your bottom dollar everyone who works within fashion would have heard of her and a few from outside the industry gates as well. Grace is the enormous talent behind US Vogue and Anna Wintour's right hand lady. Not only is she the worlds most famous editorial stylist she has now put her hobby of fashion illustration into print, here is a sneaky peak at a few!
Grace, a former model has turned US Vogue's editorial styling around and has been dubbed one of the worlds best. My favourite shoot of hers was themed around Alice In Wonderland, not only do I adore the classic story but Grace styled this so creatively, that she has captured the essence of the book beautifully. In the shoot Natalia Vodianova is shot in a sequence of stories with the worlds tops fashion designers, including Karl Lagerfeld, Marc Jacobs, Tom Ford and Jean Paul Gaultier.
With that level of creativity it's no surprising she is also a fashion illustrator and in her latest book of memoirs Grace, she has included these special sketches of her life in fashion. I thought I would give you a sneaky peak at them prior to the launch of the book. My fav is the 'English Girls' one!!!

Let's Get Down & Dirty With The Details
31 August 2012
Aged eight years old, I used to spend hours rummaging through my mothers jewellery collection, trying everything on and occasionally popping on a ring to wear for the day. But sure enough before I would plunge my hand deep into the bucket of soaked sludgy black sugar beet, which was being prepared for the horses, the Emerald and Diamond ring was whipped away by her!! Apparently wearing fine jewellery in stables isn't cool?!
Today I still have an obsession with jewellery, although more rock chick crazy jewellery rather than the diamonds! Some of my favourite designers include Stephen Webster, Dominic Jones, Shaun Leane and Dinny Hall.
Another designer to watch out for on the jewellery front is Bex Rox, this is one of her Antelope rings - soo cool!
I have to admit my obsession with skulls doesn't seem to be one of my fashion fads, I love this chicks style and jewellery, I style snapped her a few weeks ago actually!
I love this girls rings, I snapped her at the London Fashion Week Alice Temperley show.
Like your clothes/styling, the jewellery you wear can really speak volumes about you. I'm on the hunt now for some big silver rings with stacks of attitude or anything with skulls!
So whose your favourite jewellery designer at the moment?
Nothing Is Ever Black And White
3 August 2012
50 years ago people used to keep diaries or scrapbooks, I still have mine from when I was 10. Always having been addicted to fashion and beautiful things, I used to make up collages and stick images I loved into this tatty scrapbook, from old vogue magazine images to theatre tickets, anything that evoked an emotion or memory. I found this book recently, flicking through it I realised I had picked prominently black and white images.. Why I wondered?
There is a certain romance that carries through black and white images, a nostalgic feeling. For instance a black and white film, always makes me feel like I am getting a glimpse of something special from the past, photography is the same.
Although I work (blog) mostly in colour, as it enable a great depth of shades and contrasts, part of what I love about black and white photography is its more subdued monochromatic character and the emotions it can evoke. When I was 10, keeping a scrapbook was a daily addiction, like blogging is today - actually this was the reason I started the blog, a digital visual journal, a diary of what inspires me, catches my eye and things I want to shout from the roof saying 'wow look at this' !
Looking through my old scrapbook has inspired me to break from my 'colour routine' and work more in black and white ... I look forward to sharing this with you soon!
