Please may I introduce you to Manuel Facchini, an Italian designer who graduated from London’s prestigious Central
Saint Martins and became the creative director for Byblos in 2006; in which he turned this long-established Italian ready-to-wear brand into a competitive on the international market.
Recently he has started on a new adventure.. his own brand!

Gyunel is no doubt one of my favourite shows during London Fashion Week. An emerging designer all the way from Azerbaijan, sets her latest collection under the grand ceilings of Bloomsbury Ballrooms, the perfect location for this mystical show!

He's done it again!!
As Suzy Menkes writes; 'The Burberry show at
London Collections: Men was a text-book vision of branding - and it suggests
that things have only got better since Bailey took over management of the
entire company, rather than just its fashion side.'
With bohemian theme running through the collection, this was a ramped up sophisticated take on how to do 'bohemia' without looking like you've just come back from a 'Gap Yah'!!

The show opened with supermodel Yasmin Le Bon, quickly followed by her daughter Amber Le Bon, this was one hell of a start to what was to be a very good show! From all the shows I saw this season, Gyunel still has to be one of my favourites.
I caught up with this very talented Azerbaijan born designer after the show to quiz her on her latest collection and inspirations.
What do you do and
what do you love about your job?
As Creative Director I
make sure I oversee everything and as a restless person myself, this being
hectic and demanding is something I enjoy. Another thing I love about what I do
is watching my creative visions come to life.

Jean-Pierre Braganza, seriously what a show! Set in the impressive courtyard of Somerset House, Braganza presented his SS15 collection, and what a collection is was. Beautifully tailored silhouettes in greys and blacks. This is definitely one to check out more seriously on Style.com !
