Double Take Stalking at London Fashion Week 2015

28 September 2015

During London Fashion Week stylish individuals are incredibly easy to find and without being a stalker in a sweet shop and stopping everyone, it was time for some selective stalking.

These were some of my favourite ladies I couldn't help but do a double take and stalk!

LFW: Day 2 Back To The Soho Streets

22 September 2015

London Fashion Week for the last 6 years has been held in the elegant surroundings of Somerset House but this season things have changed.. Now against the backdrop of chinese restaurants and brothels, London Fashion Week has found a new home and that home would be no other place than Soho!

Being held in this location lent itself perfectly for some playful and more interesting street style photography but forget Brewer Street in which the main hub of London Fashion Week was residing (the location of the designer showrooms and show space). This street can only be described as fashion chaos, as cars honked at posing fashionistas and bloggers to pass and crowds gasped as stinky rubbish lorries ploughed though these immaculately dressed individuals! Brewer street certainly is worth seeing but you'll go mad if you're there longer than 5 minutes!!

I instead took to the streets to see what I could stalk in the surrounding area...

LFW Day 1: The Pez Party, Camilla Elphick

20 September 2015

On Friday the talented shoe designer Camilla Elphick launched her latest SS16 collection in a super cool showroom on the back streets of Soho, right next door to the famous night club The Box.

Sweet sounds boomed from the speaker as the DJ played all night, with guests sipping on glasses of bubbly and green tea cocktails, this party was certainly an excellent way to start the London Fashion Week festivities!

LFW STALK: A Stylish Pair

11 March 2015

Standing outside Somerset House chatting to a fellow street style photographer for The LFW Daily, he saw a couple of my previous stalks coming round the corner and his only words were before he dashed off to snap them; 'these two come as a pair' !!!! Yes they do!

Both very on trend, but not for SS15, for a whole season ahead even before the first of the 1970s bohemian trends came down the runway at Burberry Prorsum, these guys were on it already. One, a fashion designer and the other a journalist, there's no surprising they looked wonderful.

These two were definitely two of my favourites!

Stalked: Cansu Yazici, Editor at L'Officiel Turkiye

9 March 2015

I stalked Cansu at London Fashion Week recently, she was looking fantastic in a simple shearling esk coat, denim shirt and leathers. No surprising she is the editor of L'Officiel Turkiye and the blogger behind Advocate's Closet (FYI, personal style to die for!!!)! I caught up with her on her job, style and what she loves about LFW!

What do you do and what do you love about your job?

I am an editor at L'Officiel Turkiye, blogger at Advocate's Closet and an ex-lawyer. I know it sounds cliché but fashion has always been a great passion of mine. Before going into fashion professionally, I was a corporate lawyer at one of the highest ranked law firms in Istanbul and as I've always been a creative person, practicing law was killing all my energy. After I made the bold move of going from law to fashion professionally, working does not feel like an obligatory pain that we have to suffer from every other day anymore, which is the best side of my job:) Also, I should mention the people! In fashion, you are surrounded by creative, like-minded people and every other interaction helps you expend your vision and come up with new ideas.
