Starting with my fav lady Jaime Tully...
After going on my first retreat last year it has opened up a whole new realm of type of holiday I need to plan in each year. A retreat is not all about yoga or fitness, it’s about meeting people you’d never normally meet, eating foods which will inspire you and most importantly getting to know more about your body and mind. If it’s the thought of not drinking a glass of wine overlooking a sunset that turns you off or the ban on meat, I can assure you there are plenty of retreats that cater for that or alternatively if you’re looking for the healthy option we can definitely russle up a few of these too!
Starting with the stunning little yogini who first got me hooked on yoga and retreats, these pictures were taken in the hills of Italy on her first retreat last year that I attended, it was such a wonderful holiday which I have come away with the most wonderful memories..
Jaime Tully's retreats now get sold out very quickly but there are a few spots left on her Somerset retreat, in England, which is 21 – 24 Sept 2018.
Here are the exciting details ...
Nestled within a secluded smallholding near the Devon and Somerset border sits Boheme, a 16th century former cider press turned boho farmhouse and the stunning home for the weekend. Wrapped up in 100 acres of pastoral paradise, it blends original character features with exceptional interior design in the most fashionable modern-rustic manner. This nine bedroom farmhouse has been renovated to an exceptional standard, and includes eco-friendly enhancements and local materials to retain its rough luxe style. Think morning swims in the 15-metre indoor heated pool, yoga and fitness classes led outside on the manicured lawn, topped off with healthy feasts and barn dances in the olive tree courtyard.

2018 Retreat Review: Adam Husler
16 February 2018
Back in November last year I caught up with a yoga teacher who I had admired for a while, his no nonsense way of teaching was inspiring. After injuring my back recently I started to attend Adam’s classes, which are alignment focused, he’s a brilliant teacher and such a lovely guy that his yoga retreat is one I will no doubt be joining this year.
Food is obviously extremely important and on this holiday there will be3 tasty, organic, vegetarian meals a day, laid out for you buffet style and don't worry if you are a peckish type: they’ll be hot drinks and fruits included and available all day.
Adam Husler, Saville, Spain. 16th – 23rd June
7 days in the hills of Andalucia, Adam will lead you through 2 classes per day in the Magnificent Om Yoga Dome, with it’s awe-inspiring views, or in the beautiful Ganesha Yoga Shala. The morning one will take the form of a 90min class typical of Adam's public classes and the evening class with be 2 hour workshop or restorative class.
With experience in the boxing ring, on ultra marathon routes, studying law and with 9 years of having a yoga mat in hand, Adam (500RYT) brings a unique perspective to his yoga teaching.
Adam’s love of anatomy has lead him to specialise in Alignment Based Vinyasa Yoga, studying at an advanced level under Jason Crandell. Adam has also had the pleasure of studying intensively under Budokon Yoga Founder Cameron Shayne and renowned meditation teacher Michael Stone, both of whom have hugely inspired his current teaching method.

Yoga, Wine and Pizza
4 September 2017
Anyone who follows me on instagram would have noticed my endless posts of the beautiful Italian countryside and the odd yoga mat or two, that's because I have just returned from my first ever yoga retreat. Yoga twice a day, inversion workshops and lots of delicious pizza, healthy food and wine, all hosted by London's coolest yogi; Jaime Tully, this was possibly one of the best holidays I've had!
I've been hooked on Jaime's teaching style ever since I interviewed her in February about her journey into yoga, click here to read the interview. This was Jaime's first retreat, which sold out pretty quickly, her next in Sri Lanka is also going the same way!
