If you haven’t already noticed, the British
brand Next has been going from strength to strength lately, producing
collections which are leaning more towards runway rather than highstreet. I
caught up with Ellie one of their lovely PR girls for a little chin wag about
her job and their latest SS14 collection
What do you love
about your job?
As cliché as it
sounds, I love that every day is different! My tasks range from signing off
content for the social platforms and organising blogger events to assisting on
video shoots and making macarons in Paris...! (Alright, so the latter was a
one-off!)
What's fab about
the new collection coming out?
Our Christmas'13 range
is my favourite yet. Think smart oversize coats, luxury knits and leather
trousers! The NEW IN collections boast everything from bomber jackets to
boyfriend jeans - a very 'now' silhouette. Texture is also key. You’ll find
lots of sexy sequins and lavish lace!
What's this seasons
must have?
For me, it’s anything
faux fur. I’m absolutely in LOVE with this Neutral Short Faux Fur Jacket. It’s ideal for
throwing over a chunky knit jumper and skinny jeans but would also look totally
glam caped over an LBD!
Where do you like
to eat?
I’m the world’s
BIGGEST consumer of pizza and have physically had to stop myself buying them at
the supermarket now for actual fear of turning into one! But when I go out, I
LOVE Gourmet Pizza Co. on the Southbank. NOM.
What 5 items can
you not live without?
Eyebrow dye (I do mine
every couple of weeks)
My phone - to keep an
eye on all the social platforms!
Knitwear …all year
round!
Nike trainers – for
running and regular wear…
Paracetamol (I HATE
headaches)
